I keep waiting for November 5th to come and see where my life will go. Will I be a librarian and save the world from misinformation or will I become a ditch digger or maybe a weird artist that scares all the neighbors because he uses trash and animal scat as his medium.
I feel as if I did OK but there is always that 1% of doubt or fear that creeps in and says yeah you sick old fart your stupid and nobody likes you.
I found an old friend this week which is cool. It reminds me of my old self, the young self that had so much hope and excitement. what happened to that old self did he get crushed under the weight of real life or did he mature. I can't believe I've done so much navel searching. Sorry
as good old Monty Pyton use to say,
Some things in life are bad, they can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you’re chewing on life’s gristle
Don’t grumble, give a whistle
And this’ll help things turn out for the best
And always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the light side of life
If life seems jolly rotten there’s somefing you’ve forgotten
And that’s to laugh and smile and dance and sing
When you’re feeling in the dumps don’t be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle, that’s the thing
And always look on the bright side of life, come on
Always look on the right side of life
For life is quite absurd and death’s the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow
Forget about your sin, give the audience a grin
Enjoy it, it’s your last chance anyhow
So always look on the bright side of death
A-Just before you draw your terminal breath
Life’s a piece a shit when you look at it
Life’s a laugh and death’s a joke, it’s true
You’ll see it’s all a show, keep ‘em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you
And always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the right side of life, come on Brian, cheer up
(Always look on the bright side of life)
Always look on the bright side of life
Worse things happen at sea, you know
(Always look on the bright side of life) I mean, what you gotta lose
You know, you come from nothing, you’re going back to nothing
What’ve you lost? Nothing
(Always look on the right side of life)
Nothing will come from nothing, you know what they say
(Always look on the right side of life) cheer up, you old bugger
Come on, give us a grin, there ya are
See, it’s nearly the end of the record
(Always look on the right side of life)
You’ll be nursing another tune in a minute
Alright, so your girlfriend just ran off with an Argentinean polo player
Okay (always look on the bright side of life)
Your ass been just decamped in the babysitter, and he’s from Norway
Alright, so your team’s losing fifteen-nil on to Barney
(Always look on the right side of life)
It’s not the end of the world, is it, now come on, cheer up
Moan, moan, moan, that’s what people do these days
Especially you old people (always look on the bright side of life)
All you’re gonna do is sit around and moan as you take your teeth away
Now come on girls, put the kettle on, have a nice cup of tea
That’s it (always look on the bright side of life)
Alright, come on, you groovy disc jockey, better get this rubbish off now
(Always look on the bright side of life)
Especially because we got something impressive like the news
